Jessica Ann, of The Happy Mama Place, is a certified doula, placenta encapsulation specialist, and licensed massage therapist serving Northeast Pennsylvania. Jessica Ann began her career as a licensed massage therapist after being inspired by her doula during her own pregnancy. Since then, she has worked with many chiropractic offices and earned certifications in prenatal, postpartum, and induction massages. She also teaches infant massage classes to expectant and new parents.
Jessica Ann became a certified birth doula through DONA and has supported moms all over Northeastern Pennsylvania during their birthing experiences. She works with mothers birthing in hospitals and at home to provide emotional, physical, and educational support throughout pregnancy and delivery. Through her support of postpartum mothers, she discovered placenta encapsulation and completed her Placenta Specialist Certification through IPPA.
Jessica Ann is very active in the community, often hosting information sessions and gatherings for mothers-to-be. She volunteers her time teaching the community about prenatal care, breastfeeding, and infant massage.
